Hello Friends, family and fans,

I am very happy to announce that I have been nominated for the 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards by the Women Business Owners of Manitoba. This is quite an honor! It is very rare for a musician to be nominated and I am quite excited. I will tell you more as I learn about the upcoming event. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!

Judging the Junos

I hope that you had a wonderful holiday! I have spent the afternoon and evening listening to nominees for the Junos. The Junos are the highest music award in Canada. I have had the honor of judging the Junos for several years.  There are ten judges in all of Canada for this particular category- one per province. It is a real joy to listen to the music that was produced this past year. Some very gorgeous works and some very innovative projects too. It is a real challenge to choose the top albums in order- I chose based on the music, the artistry and the beauty.

Happy Holidays to you all!

I am busy, busy singing and managing the Yuletide Singers. This is our 13th year in business and we have 21 gigs in 5 weeks! It is our busiest season but a pleasure to share songs of the season with everyone.   If you are a last minute shopper- I will see you at the mall on the 23rd as that will be my first chance to shop.

All the best to you and your families for a safe and happy season!

The Kabaret project is moving forward nicely. I have begun working regulary with composer Andrew Morican. One project has become three now! I will complete the Kabaret project and then move to a continuation of the classical cross over/ adult contemporary style of the last album- Passions: Art of Seduction. A very exciting time!

I am happy to report that I have begun working on my next album! The working title is Kabaret and will feature classic songs that have been rearranged and modernized. In addition the album will include original songs written in the cabaret style. I look forward to the passion, art and angst that is this music. More to come!

“While going to the English Garden at Assiniboine Park, I came upon the Dutch Festivities and happened to hear you sing.
I was impressed with the quality of your singing. Then I went check out your website and listened to some of your songs.
I became an instant fan. Being Dutch I enjoyed the other parts of the festival too.
Thanks for your voice”

“Didn’t expect to hear a big time voice at Dutch Days at Assiniboine Â
Park, but life is full of surprises.
Good luck in your career.!!”
